The objectives of the management of Commercial Microbiology® Limited
are to provide analytical microbiology, consultancy and manufacturing
services, aimed at ensuring the maintenance of product quality in
industrial systems, in such a manner that conforms to the specified
requirements of its customers in conjunction with laid down company,
industry and legal standards and specifications.
To meet this objective, the management shall take all reasonable
steps to ensure that services are provided from all company sites
in such a manner as to maintain quality at all times. The Company
operates a Quality Management System that complies with BS EN ISO
9001 : 2000 for the provision of laboratory analysis, consultancy,
manufacture and supply of consumables and the supply of specialised
sampling devices. For all tests that the Laboratory holds UKAS Accreditation,
these tests will be performed in accordance with EN ISO/IEC 17025
: 2000.
It is the responsibility of all staff to familiarise themselves
with the contents of the Quality Manual and comply with the policies
and procedures laid down in the manual and associated documents
at all times.
The Managing Director is responsible for implementing the Quality
Policy, and is committed to the continual improvement of the Quality
Management system.
Quality objectives are established from actions arising from the
Annual Quality Review which are designated to specific staff until
they are achieved or resolved.
As Managing Director I am fully committed to providing adequate
resources to meet the requirements of the quality system and am
committed to continual improvement.
